Meet The #CUC2020 Team

William Foster
~ General Co-chair ~
He is 26 years old. God laid it on his heart to create a conference for young adults. A place for them to really check up on their spiritual growth. The one thing that makes him excited about the CheckUp Conference is that it’s an opportunity for young people to give everything to God and lay at the altar in full surrender! Sometimes people don’t have that opportunity at their own home church. So this conference is the perfect place to lay it at his feet and get a refill!

Chandler Corzine
~ General Co-chair ~
He is 26 years old and has been involved with the CheckUp Conference for 2 years. He is this year’s breakout session leader, panelist, and was last year’s main session speaker. He loves the vision and mission behind this event. He also believes deeply in having a diverse experience in worship and community to gain a greater picture of God’s Kingdom.

LaTonia Lopez
(Seasoned Saint)
~ Hospitality Chair ~
She has worked with the Operations department of the CheckUp Conference for 3 years now. During her time with the conference, she has experienced God using youth and young adults as vessels for Kingdom building. While edification of the saints happens during the conference, people have also taken notice of the biblical tips given to apply to this generation's daily lives. Her love for advocacy and mentoring youth and young adults is evident in all areas of her life. She is also a High School Educator and Union advocate. However, she is always focused on “doing what is pleasing to the Father.”

Tiffanee White
~ Finance Chair ~
Tiffanee is 32 and has attended the CheckUp Conference since its kick off in 2017. In 2018, she made the decision to become and remain involved with the CheckUp conference. This conference has provided her an opportunity to be bold, flat footed, worshiping God, releasing all that had been weighing her down with tears flowing, hands raised with other believers. The speakers and teachers of the conference are God-led, and full of spiritual knowledge, ready to feed attendees. After her first encounter with this conference, she saw the impact that it could make on people of all ages and backgrounds, she knew then that she wanted to be a part of this amazing event.

Nona Carter
~ Executice Secretary ~
She is 23 and has been helping with the CheckUp Conference for 2 years now. She started off as a volunteer because she wanted to help in any way that she could. She didn’t really have a specific role, but if the ultimate goal is to serve the kingdom, a role didn’t matter to her. This conference serves the entire kingdom of God from little children all the way up to the seasoned saints, and whatever she can do to help better serve the body of Christ, she will do so. This conference has helped build her faith, as well as her growth in leadership. It’s a beautiful thing to answer God’s call and allow Him to change your life. In her own words, “I am who I am because of what He’s done for me.”

Christopher Davis
~ Program Co-chair ~
He is 22 years old and has been attending the CheckUp Conference for 2 years now. His experience with this conference has been an annual opportunity to reflect on his character and refocus his relationship with Christ. He got involved in order to promote the lessons and relationships present at the conference to those with little to no other opportunities to be around true followers of Christ.

Eryn Burnett
~ Publications Chair ~
She is 21 years old and this is her first year being involved with planning the CheckUp Conference. She has only had the pleasure of attending once in 2019, and knew that she wanted to become more involved. Despite last year's conference being her only experience, she could tell that this conference had the power to transform people's lives by hearing and learning about the Word of God through the Spirit-filled teaching and worship.

Mark Everett
~ Logistics Chair ~
He is 26 years old and has been attending & working the event for 4 years. His experience from the CheckUp Conference has been the most rewarding. It has given him a closer and deeper relationship with God. The energy from everyone on the team & all of the participants really makes the event so much fun. He got involved with this conference because of the guidance it provides. It is a safe place where you can ask the questions, seek understanding and check up on the body of Christ. Also, he loves mentoring and through this event is where he can give back.

Tylor Richie
~ Technical Chair ~
He is 24 years old and has been involved with this conference for the past 4 years. It has been his experience that every year the CheckUp team is more inspired and motivated then the year before. He got involved in order to help his friend build something that he felt would become a very important and well-known conference for youth and young adults.

Kayla Griffin
~ Public Relations Chair ~
She is 22 years old and this is her first year working with the Check Up Conference and will be her second year attending. Her experience last year at this was amazing. She attended in support. She got Involved because she loved the movement that they have started and the message they send to the community.

Marquis Ward
~ Program Co-chair ~
He is 21 years old and he has been a part of this conference for 3 years now. Therefore, by participating in and assisting the production of this conference, he has had an amazing experience. He has learned how to be more free in worship. Also, this always reminds me to check in with God all the time and keep their relationship strong. These two reasons are why he has gotten involved in the CheckUp Conference.
